I believe I have experienced every facial scrub on the HBA aisle. Several too harsh for the skin, and others which don't quite provide the exfoliation your skin needs. It's important to note when I speak of "scrubbing the skin", it translates to using an exfoliant which can be gently massaged on the surface of the skin.
One should never aggressively "scrub" the skin. If you aggressively scrub the skin, it has the potential of tearing and stretching enlarged pores. Applying light pressure in circular motions will suffice.
